I MADE IT!


today was my physical..AND I MADE MY GOALL!! 23lbs in 3 months. its the best feeling in the world (:

so tonight im going to reward myself with ice cream..which i havent had in foreverrrr! and then its back to business..i want to lose 14 more lbs..so i will be starting on that goal tomorrow. now that ive reached my goal and gone through everything..i feel accomplished and i want to lose weight and i feel better than ever, so im going to take a break from the bloging. it has helped tremendously and i hope everyone else makes their goals too! peace out.

so ive been feeling kind of under the weather lately so i took a trip to the doctor..turns out i have the flu /:

he said to take it easy so im going to take a week off and just try and get better.

Time For Change


i didnt post yesterday, but i didnt forget about it. i was thinking last night, and while im getting results, theyre not the ones i want. im losing weight, but im not being too serious about it, and that has GOT to stop. so yesterday and today, i came up with a new plan [: im going to aim to lose 2lbs a week [any more than that is considered unhealthy]. i have an appointment for my annual physical on july 29th, so by then, i am hoping to be 25 pounds less than i am now.

ive been eating a lot of junk food, and having unhealthy meals, and i WILL not be doing this anymore [except tonight maybe. im staying at a friends house for the night so i dont exactly get to choose what to eat, but ive been good the rest of the day. promise.]

i also dont get enough exercise. ive noticed that i run out of energy faster now, so i need to get started on this again.i do get a work out with softball, but it is nothing compared to what i was doing in field hockey and how good of shape i was in back in the fall.

i also havent been weighing in as much, and im going to do that every saturday or sunday.

so heres to starting all over with day 1 [:

Vacationnn!


im am on spring break and im going away so i wont have my computer therefore i will not be able to make my daily entries so when i get back ill just make a synopsis of the whole thing! have a good week!!!

HAPPY EASTERR!


it is definitely my FAVORITE EASTER because I CAN PUT MY BELT ON TIGHTER!!!  you know how a belt has like 5 or 6 holes that you can attach it to?? well i used to only be able to put it on the first one but today, it is on the 4th one!!! WOOHOO! just thought i’d let you know, because it is VERY exciting to me [:

now go run around finding those easter eggs and then give that chocolate away because its NOT GOOD FOR YOU!!

NEW SAYING


so i decided i like the folowing saying:

you will get out of it what you put into it.

it shows that you will only get results if you actually try, and try hard. so when i try to half-a** it and take the easy way ouf [by snacking or something], ill think of this, and i will know that i wont see results if i dont try and put in the effort [:

keeping your mouth busy


ive decided that when i have a craving for any type of food when im actually NOT hungry, im going to pop a piece of gum in my mouth. this way my mouth is busy, and i wont want to eat. i also LOVE minty gum [:

i looked some stuff up about chewing gum and check out what i found:

Chew while you chop. A taste here and there while you’re cooking can derail a diet. To stay on track, pop a piece of gum in your mouth. The taste of tomato sauce, or mashed potatoes or mac and cheese doesn’t mix so well with, say, the flavor of spearmint.
Let gum satisfy your sweet tooth. When a craving hits, grab a piece of gum instead of a high-calorie, sugary snack. That burst of sweetness you get as you chomp down may give your taste buds just what they’re looking for–without doing damage to your waistline.
End a meal with gum. If you’re the kind of person who can’t stop eating once you start, then chewing gum after a meal may be a good way to tell your mind that the kitchen’s now closed.

time for a stricter diet


ive decided that if i want to be serious about this losing weight thing, i need to have a stricter diet, and not just eat what i want. so i am going to make a set of rules for myself:

-no more than 25g of fat a day

-absolutely NO JUNK FOOD

-no white flour

-if it is necessary to go out to eat, a salad is necessary

-whole wheat bread only [which isnt that hard because i love it. i dont really like white bread + i grew up on whole wheat]

-i MUST do an hour of exerrcises every day

-eating breakfast is VERY necessary

-stop eating when full

-portion food correctly [serving size]

anyone have any more rules i can add?

Food is My Drug


i have decided to change the blog title to “Food is My Drug” because personally, it isnt my worst enemy, 18 wheel trucks are, so that name was just wrong. Food is my drug because it can be addicting. once you start eating something good, its hard to stop, like narcotic drugs. I am currently a food addict and i am determined to change this. im not ashamed because many people love to eat and its just become a bad habit it many peoples lives. BREAK THE HABIT PEOPLE! YOU CAN DO ITT!
